Assessments
  1. Pretraining surveys including information about basic demographic and mentoring background information; your motivation to be a mentor; your expectations of mentoring; your preferences for mentees; and your readiness to begin mentoring.
  2. Final brief Quiz designed to assess knowledge of the core concepts. Mentors are provided with immediate feedback to each quiz question to facilitate learning.
  3. Brief post-training survey to reflect upon expectations and perceived readiness to mentor after having completed the course.
Additional Resources
  1. A Mentor Training Journal that allows mentor to reflect upon the core concepts of the course in relation to their own personalities, strengths, and perceived challenges.
  2. Downloadable PDF containing a summary of the tips, key concepts, and facts included in the Building the Foundation course.
  3. Downloadable Certificate of Completion PDF indicating completion of the five Building the Foundation lessons and successfully passing the Knowledge Application Quiz.
